With existing, extensive functionality, previously proven at multiple world-largest and lesser-known businesses and non-profits around USA and EU, we have a large and complex scope for QA automation, and we want you to work hard on elimination of any manual QA routine.

Reports to VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, document, hands-on implement, maintain, run a QA automation suite for our web-based SaaS product (functional, regression, performance), in close collaboration with your peers in the QA team.
  • Assist with production troubleshooting, issue identification, escalation.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, work estimation, provide continuous and proactive QA guidance to engineering team, including daily meetings, email, and online communication.
  • Contribute to implementation and maintenance of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and related automation, as far as quality is concerned.
  • Help keep up high implementation quality standards, very low development-to-bug ratios, by keeping the team informed on its current quality, trends, threats, issues.
  • Continuously contribute to overall platform stability security.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years proven experience in software quality assurance, specifically web-based systems, with extensive focus on user interface and functionality.
  • 5 years hands-on automation work in regression testing and performance testing, utilizing any commercial or proprietary automation frameworks.
  • Extensive practical experience in QA for web-based systems which operate privacy-sensitive and security-sensitive data.
  • Thorough understanding and extensive practical experience with HTTP/S, digital security (signatures, encryption, hashing, web authentication schemes), as well as security threats related to web applications (anything OWASP) and common ways to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Excellent understanding and experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
